Marketing Reverend Berriman’s

  • Heavenly Unorthodox Beverages
  • Reverend Berriman's Website
  • Press coverage for Reverend Berriman's

The Reverend John Berriman approached The Vine to assist with promoting his range of chilli infused soft drinks. The Reverend and his team had launched a range of chilli drinks in early 2009 but didn’t have a focused plan for marketing or a solid brand name.

We felt that the brand, packaging and supporting design work did not reflect the quality of the product so The Vine suggested an entire rebrand and relaunch. Working closely with the client we produced briefs that were put out to tender to a number of creative agencies.

As well as handling all marketing and PR for the brand, The Vine also project managed all elements of the launch campaign which included graphic design provided by Lowestudio, web development provided by Bellamy Studio , copywriting by Stranger Collective, CGI imagery from Handmade Image Studios and the set up of various social media profiles.

The project was turned around in a few months and with a modest budget. Once the new product was ready to launch The Vine worked on releasing the news to press both online and in print, securing coverage in national publications such as The Grocer and influential West Country newspapers such as the Western Morning News.

In addition the launch of Reverend Berriman’s has been picked up by trending websites such as Cool Hunting and TrendHunter. Bloggers and social media fans are talking about the brand and the buzz has lead to the client has receiving numerous trade enquiries and online sales as a result.
