Creative Skills Cornwall appoints The Vine for PR and Social Media Training
PR and Marketing agency The Vine has been appointed by Creative Skills Cornwall to put in place a cohesive multichannel public relations campaign to promote its annual Open Studios Cornwall event.
This year sees a record 205 artists and craftspeople opening their studios to the public at the beginning of summer (Saturday 28th May to Sunday 5th June) as part of the Open Studios Cornwall event. The Vine will be handling both the Southwest and national press for the popular annual event.
Last year 2% of all Open Studios visitors heard about the event online and Creative Skills is hoping to increase the event’s profile through social media and national editorial coverage. In support of the PR campaign The Vine will be offering social media training to the Creative Skills team.
Lotte Mahon, Head Honcho at The Vine comments:
“Open Studios Cornwall is an established and well respected event in the Southwest and we are excited to assist in increasing its reach through national press coverage, to encourage visitors from further a field. We are looking forward to training the Creative Skills team so they can harness the power of social media for this event.”
The Vine’s appointment will take immediate effect and the agency will be working on the project until June 2011.
